Accredited Center of Excellence

           In 2000, MCEMS Communications became one of the first in Oklahoma, and the 41^st Internationally Accredited Center of Excellence. MCEMS is currently only 1 out of 11 centers internationally that has been re-accredited over 7 times! MCEMS is proud to be 1 of the only 3 Accredited Centers in Oklahoma!

            Accredited centers share a common goal of improving public care and maximizing the efficiency of 911 centers. The International Academies of Emergency Dispatch have established a high standard of excellence for emergency dispatch, and has provided the tools to achieve this high standard through certification at the dispatcher level, and at the communications center level through the accreditation program.
